To SI Union Presidents / SC Presidents

Dear President,
I’m writing to you as the Chair of the SIE Congress & Centenary Event 2021 and on behalf of the Centenary Team. The 2021 SIE Congress is going to be particularly memorable because in addition to the exciting programme which our members would expect, we will also be celebrating 100 years of Soroptimist International.
A few months ago, we invited you to present us an outstanding Soroptimist who has made a difference to her club, Union or community under the motto “We stand up for Women for 100 years - SIE celebrates 100 years – 100 Soroptimists”.
In addition to the visibility given to the 100 Soroptimists on the Centenary Website, the SIE Board decided to award one of the nominees “100 years – 100 Soroptimists” with the Centenary Award.
The Award will consist of:
1. Certificate signed by the SIE President and the Chair of the Jury
2. A sculpture designed by Anne-Marie ADAM, a former Soroptimist from Belgium, living in France
3. € 5.000, - financial reward, to be dedicated to a specific project presented by the Awardee in accordance with the Mission and Vision of Soroptimist International.
The laureate will be invited to the SIE Centenary Event to receive her prize. Her travel expenses and hotel accommodations will be covered by SIE. In the case the Award is presented to a group of women rather than one woman, the group will designate who will represent them.
